Canada Express Entry Immigration; What you Need to Know About Express Entry Canada

 Express Entry Canada

Express Entry was released by the Canadian Government on January 1, 2015, in an effort to choose skilled immigrants as Permanent Residents of Canada.

Express Entry is used to handle applications for Permanent Residence under three federal economic immigration programs:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program

Provinces and territories might also recruit candidates in the Express Entry system through their Provincial Nominee Programs in order to reach local labour market needs.

Step 1 – Potential Candidates must complete an Online Express Entry Profile

Step 2 – The highest-ranking candidates while in the pool might be invited to apply for Permanent Residence

Candidates might be ranked against others while in the pool having a point-based system referred to as the Comprehensive Ranking System. Points are awarded using the info for their profile.

Candidates with the greatest scores in the pool might be issued an Invitation to Apply. Candidates might be awarded points for:

  • a job offer, without or with LMIA, or
  • skills and experience factors.

An applicant might get additional points for:

  • a nomination using a province or territory, or
  • a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate

An applicant might get further additional points for:

  • having strong French vocabulary skills, with additional points planning to candidates who also provide English vocabulary skills, or
  • having relatives in Canada

These extra points can certainly make an applicant rank highly enough to generally be invited to apply at the subsequent eligible round of invitations.

If a person is invited to apply, they'll need 60 days to submit an online application for Permanent Residence.

IRCC will process a lot of complete applications (meaning, those with all the current necessary supporting documents) in half a year or less.

Candidates can live in the pool for as much as 12 months. If they just do not experience an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence within 12 months of submitting an Express Entry profile, they will submit a brand new profile. As long as they still qualify, they might re-enter the pool. This may prevent backlogs and make certain quick processing times.
